About This Project
Sanctum, a stunning garden masterpiece, was meticulously crafted and brought to life by the talented Sonja Kalkschmidt from Silva Barns. This magnificent creation took home the prestigious gold medal at the esteemed Chelsea Flower Show in 2024, showcasing a perfect blend of intricate hard and soft landscaping elements.
Sonja’s passion for landscape design was evident from the moment she set foot at JWQ back in 2021. Her enthusiasm to learn and absorb every detail of the quarry visit was truly remarkable. Fast forward to the present day, and an exciting opportunity presented itself for Sonja to showcase her skills at the illustrious Chelsea Flower Show. Drawing inspiration from her memorable time at the quarry, she wasted no time in reaching out to explore her creative ideas and work alongside us to bring her vision to life.
Taking into consideration the project budget, Sonja carefully curated a design that beautifully incorporated elements from our exquisite stone range. The final result was a breathtaking display of paving and cladding, seamlessly blending natural beauty with Sonja’s innovative touch.
