Winter Gardens – Sheffield

[rev_slider winter]

More than 1300 square meters of Crosland Hill Yorkstone Paving was manufactured by Johnsons Wellfield to cover the floor area of this project.

Sheffield City Council succeeded in creating one of the largest temperate glasshouses to be built in the UK during the last hundred years, and the largest urban glasshouse anywhere in Europe.

The Winter Gardens is a superb building which is 70 metres long and 22 metres high and home to more than 2500 plants from all around the world. More than 1300 square metres of Crosland Hill Yorkstone Paving covers the floor area of this project, a natural complement to the Larch timber frames.
